"You mean…" Oscar stared at James full of warning but the man still looked back at Ana with intimidating eyes.
"Even if you decided to cheat on his grace one day, would you dare to do it in front of him?" She flinched and felt disgusted.
He laughed looking at her face with no humor in his voice or actions.
"What about the welt marks on his back?" curiosity took better of her. She waited for them to speak more, tell her everything she wanted to know.
Suddenly she felt like she was in the dark cave and he was the only hint of light that could enlighten her.
"Your grace!" Liam's jaw ticked. He looked at her in a threatening gaze while Oscar already moved his horse between her and james.
