"Ah! I was just joking. Did you need to be so serious?" Meredith touched his chest while laughing but her hands lingered there for long.
Ana shifted her weight from one foot to another. Her head tilted to the other side when Gary paused.
He held Meredith's hands and let them go,
"I apologize for your highness, but my wife did not like it when others touched me. She would misunderstand your actions." Meredith froze.
Her smiling face cracked instantly. She knew that Garry did not like his wife. He never liked anyone and forgot about loving them.
He had made sure that Gabi was left alone in the dark room until she broke. And he was only acting warmly with Ana in front of everyone. He only stared at her with that cold gaze when he was alone with her.
Not that she was accepting love from this man. But she enjoyed tormenting Ana because she did not like the look on her face.
