Feeling the urgency in her voice, Diana's eyes sank. She knew Ana was alone with the princess before.
"... alright, I will do that." She nodded and let Ana's knights escort her in her carriage.
Looking at her mother's dull face, who had finally realized the reason, Ana felt heavy.
She glared at the man instantly.
"Why did you come here? I thought you were going to leave silently after your meeting." Garrison's eyes narrowed at her face.
She did not look drunk anymore. Her body was not staggering and her eyes looked much clearer. He stared at leaving Diana as he finally understood her intentions.
"Did the princess threaten you?" he asked back when her lips twisted into a mocking smile.
"Why? Would you go to your lover and scold him for harassing your wife? Or would you laugh and mock me for thinking I could win against her." she spat harshly, her cheeks burning with anger as she pointed his finger at his chest.
