Stunned for a second, Ana replied with a dim face,
"I do not know about others. But my feelings for you are sincere. I hope you stay happy in the future. I will take care of you unconditionally." Rowan paused. He raised his head to notice a worried and disappointed look on her face.
He cursed. He had let his emotions out again. Had he forgotten everything he had learned so far?
"Did you enjoy your visit to your family?" Anna held her breath for a second. She was contemplating should she tell him why she hated his father.
She was worried that their actions had affected the emotions of the child. He was still a kid who could not understand complex things. He must have been too young when his mother died. So, he did not remember the love and affection.
His cold father had made a strange image of a woman in his mind. But if she let it be, what if he grew like his father? No! Her jaws clenched. She was not going to let that happen.
