Chapter 11 - New Prisoner, Chris

On this day, Peter woke up as usual and went down to the first underground floor.

However, as he was now the patrol captain, he didn't need to personally patrol, so there was no need for him to wake up so early.

When he arrived at the first underground floor, Rock and Leonard, who were responsible for today's patrol duty, immediately greeted him.

"Good morning, Captain!"

They were very enthusiastic.

Although they had joined the Wizard Tower earlier than Peter, Peter had become the patrol captain while they were still ordinary apprentice wizards.

Such a difference naturally made them full of enthusiasm toward Peter.

They were afraid of doing something to upset Peter!

"Anything unusual last night?"

Peter nodded and greeted them in return.

Although he had become the captain, Peter didn't feel superior because of it.

He was still friendly toward these people because they were friends who lived together, and they were familiar with each other. There was no need to make the relationship so distant.

"Nothing to report, Captain!"

Rock answered very seriously.

"Rock, you don't have to be like this. Although I am the captain, we are still friends."

Peter said with a smile.

Nothing unusual. That was good!

"Peter, come out!"

At that moment, Colot's voice came from outside.

Peter quickly returned to the upper floor and saw Colot continuing, "Get ready, we have another prisoner to bring in today!"

"Another prisoner?" Peter was somewhat surprised.

"Yes!" Colot patted his shoulder. "That's how it is here. People keep coming and going. Previously, there was no one specifically managing this, but now it's different. Since you have become the patrol captain, you have to take responsibility for this matter!"

"I understand!"

Peter nodded repeatedly.

He knew very well that it was his duty!

Since he took on this job, he had to do it well.

Moreover, he could use this opportunity to improve his strength. Peter had no reason to refuse.

"Then I'll go prepare now!"

Peter went off for preparation.

In order to welcome the new prisoner, he had to get all the members of the patrol team on duty, and they all arrived at the entrance.

He noticed a golden figure approaching in the distance.

The figure looked somewhat familiar. She was the female Templar Knight whom he had met once before.

Just like last time, the woman had a very proud demeanor.

But this time was different.

There was no one from the Wizard Tower coming out to welcome her.

Only Peter and the members of the patrol team were in charge of the handover.

"Where is your inspector general? Why isn't he here?" The woman glanced at Peter.

Her tone carried a sense of superiority, clearly looking down on Peter and his fellow apprentice wizards.

"The inspector general is busy. He said that unless it's an exceptionally important prisoner, I should handle the handover with you, madam," Peter politely replied.

"That works too."

the woman nodded slightly.

She didn't seem to care who was responsible for the handover. It seemed like a very ordinary and insignificant task to her.

She had come here simply to complete the mission.

She didn't care about anything else.

"This is the prisoner for this time!"

As speaking, the woman brought a man over.

In fact, Peter had already seen the man earlier. He had been standing behind the woman, shackled with thick iron chains.

He looked extremely disheveled!

And now, the woman dragged the man in front of Peter, allowing him to take a careful look at the man.

He noticed that the man had a tall and robust figure, nearly two meters tall. Muscles bulged all over his body, like a small mountain.

He was bald, but he had a very thick beard.

The beard was long and reached his chest, making him look like a giant bear.

He exuded a strong and imposing aura.

"This prisoner is a Templar Knight who defected and joined a cult. He possesses tremendous strength, so you must not let him escape!"

The woman warned him.

"Don't worry, no prisoner locked up here has managed to escape yet!"

Peter replied directly.

Next, the woman gave some instructions and then turned and left.

[Prisoner: Chris]

[Infamy Level: Four Stars]

[Strength: Advanced Knight, Level 5]

[Status: Imprisoned]

[Capture Participation Rate: 1%]

[Reward: 15 Magic Power/hour]

...

Soon, the magic book emitted a sound indicating successful registration.

This person was similar to the initial prisoner, Oddssen, but he was stronger than Oddssen, so in his initial state, he could generate a reward of 15 magic power per hour.

Adding that to Peter's existing 80 points, he could now obtain 95 magic power per hour.

It was a very substantial number.

Next, Peter took this man named Chris and planned to imprison him on the first underground floor.

But just as Peter started to drag him, he realized that Chris was incredibly heavy.

No matter how hard he tried, Chris remained immobile.

"Hahaha, a scrawny kid like you thinks you can drag me? You better go back and get more training!"

Chris laughed mockingly.

He noticed that Chris not only had a tall stature but was also filled with muscles, weighing at least 125 kilograms.

In comparison, Peter was only a little over 1.7 meters tall and seemed like an insignificant small creature.

As a wizard, an increase in strength wouldn't help him gain greater physical abilities.

Therefore, it was normal for Peter to be unable to drag him.

But that didn't stop Peter!

With a faint smile, he waved his hand, and Chris levitated in the air.

"Unfortunately, I don't need to drag you at all!"

Peter directly used Levitation Spell to send Chris into the prison cell and locked him up.

Next, he curiously examined Chris's information.

He wanted to see what crimes this traitor of the Templar Knights had committed.

In Peter's eyes, the Templar Knights were a noble group, and if someone could join them, it meant they would have supreme glory.

Their status was far higher than that of a wizard in the Wizard Tower!

They were even more noble than the Inspector General!

That was also why the Inspector General showed great respect when he met that woman.

Correspondingly, the wizards had an organization called the Sanctum.

The wizards inside were all at least Advanced Wizards!
