The caravan formed into two lines, with the personnel bustling back and forth. By the time they merged back into a single line, three ordinary carriages had unwittingly made their way to the center of the procession.
In this way, even if someone noticed something amiss, they would be filled with suspicion. After all, this method was highly deceptive and even if the intent was truly to conceal some people in those three unremarkable carriages at the center, such a maneuver was not at all improper.
If the enemy harbored doubts about the truth, then apart from these three carriages, in which of the remaining carriages would they find their intended targets and which ones would be empty?
The target would instantly expand to encompass the entire convoy. What then, launch a surprise attack to test each and every carriage?
