The pale-faced man was visibly moved. Then he glanced at his wife nestled beside another man and instantly recognized him—it was his workshop colleague, Guangxing.
"Come for a meal, eh? Come in, come in, hurry on in."
The man immediately put on a smile and quickly pushed the door back, standing under the door frame as he called out to Guangxing and his own wife, Ling Wang, who were outside.
"Today I must trouble you; this is my first time eating at your place."
Guangxing laughed heartily, embracing Ling Wang as he stepped in front of the man, his palm unapologetically forward, but the man, oblivious, smiled broadly, "What's the trouble with that? I may not have many skills, but lately, I've really improved my cooking."
