"Caw, caw!!"
Voices akin to those of crows, yet raspy and piercing, resonated through the air as giant, zombie bats almost three metres tall and with abnormally large wingspans shot up into the sky.
Other smaller airborne zombies rose along with the giant creature, appearing almost as though they were treading the air. Some had sinister wings attached to their backs, casting additional ominous shadows upon the serene sky.
"Roar!!"
On various streets, mutant zombies that have broken free from their confinement in buildings roared, driven into frenzy by the ubiquitous barrage of rockets and the noise of mutant spider zombies, converging in the direction of the bridge.
"Hehehe..."
One zombie peered towards the bridge, attracted by all the noise. It went on a frenzied dash towards the bridge.
