Li Ming set down his water cup, adjusted his safety sword with a laugh, then walked out of his house, pocketed the keys to his front door, and shut it behind him.
Across their floor's hallway, a woman in a black shirt silently stood in place watching him. Their hallway was empty except for the two of them and she just happened to live across the hallway from the house Li Ming had rented.
Li Ming walked over to the woman, and she moved to meet him halfway. However, as he drew closer, she suddenly cast her gaze down to the ground, appearing a bit evasive.
