She's the silliest,
The most dramatic I've found.
She glides through the halls with a dance,
A rhythm that never flows with the beat.
She's gleeful,
It's like a virus, everyone catches the joy.
She brings the cheer as she entertains herself,
She's her own bundle of delight.
Some have deemed her quiet;
From afar I've heard she's calm,
I mock them,
If only they knew.
She turns the slightest words into sarcasm,
Takes the most serious conversations for fun;
Her laugh is pretty,
I find myself smiling along.
She has the way she calls attention,
A command so mild yet what she seeks responds,
Setting her mind on a thing at a time;
Her determination is intriguing, I can't help but stare.
She walks down the fields with grace;
No wonder the flowers blossom at her pace.
I've admired her, this girl...
How she turns weaknesses in an instant to incredible strength,
Never turning a being away;
There was comfort in her smiles.
She'd up and jump all over,
Making a striking appearance as she went,
They've all come to love her;
Everyone that met her.
It's no surprise to me,
Yet she captured me in a different way.
I watch her dernly,
She hasn't noticed a thing.
Her hair sits perfectly when she's glowed up,
And oh boy, how homeless she looks when it's just her around;
Still somehow, the beauty stays the same.
Her early morning face has her looking like a new found stray,
Her midnight glow so bright, it could match the moon's ray;
Don't get me started on how she finds a song to every word,
You would think she's made a thousand covers;
It's true, she hardly sits still;
There must be something to do, something to say...
I've seen how she's cried, still wiping the tears of others,
I've felt her falling to my embrace when the pressure grows deeper,
How she'd fit her arms into mine when I'm getting uneasy;
Oh how precious her gaze was when she spoke,
Somehow the hours didn't matter when it was her,
Time felt like it was running yet never going to be enough...
She's mostly soft hearted, sometimes I scold her for that;
It's still pleasant how she shines through her flaws,
She keeps making me want to be better, to do better_
When the people stare, I would blush from within,
When they ask, all I can do is smile;
For as much as the depth to which my heart has fallen,
And how desperately my lips desire to call her mine,
I hover in my thoughts;
My will at the mercy of hers,
Cause I lie daily as the best friend at her side,
A picture perfect frame that won't give a crack,
In her eyes it's all I've ever been and all I ever will...
And for all the love I have to give,
The most beautiful love burning to be revealed,
She would never know...
