After a long sleepless night, the sun finally breaks through the cave entrance. Liz and i, both red eyed, get up and go to the entrance. Inspecting our surroundings before we exit.
What greets us is a lush and vibrant forest. There is nature as far as the eye can see. Strange yet beautiful plants bloom on the ground and hang from the trees. Tiny creatures scurry across the forest floor in search of food. Some even look to be playing and chasing each other around.
When they noticed us they all took off running for a place to hide.
"Huh they must be shy, or scared of us for some reason," I state.
"Maybe they're not used to meeting humans," Liz responds.
"Hmmm maybe you're right. Definitely ant rule out any of the possibilities, but since they're gone at least we know we're safe from them." They shouldn't be any threat if they're running from just seeing us.
