Dirt and debris scattered around the arena, limiting the audience's line of sight. Sam, standing straight as a bamboo stick, failed to notice a sneak attack hidden by the foggy dust around him. Like a hot knife cutting through the cloudy dust, a miniature crescent, a weaker version of the one initially sent by Cain.
Internally shocked by the still remaining attack, Sam couldn't believe that his skill attack couldn't cancel out Cain's attack; instead, it was his that was canceled out, leaving him defenseless.
Using that split second of confusion, Cain dashed towards Sam, instantly appearing beside him with his daepon aimed towards his kidney area.
