Cain's heart was panting, his chest pounding in a frenzy, yet a beautiful smile bloomed on his face. He lay in a star-like position on the cold concrete floor of the arena, recalling the intense battle he had with Hazy.
With her swift and elegant spear, she paved away his clumsy attack; all of his techniques and attack patterns were like an open book to her.
For once, Cain envied her skill - the ability to measure the amount of energy within a person or an inanimate object. Her amazing skill didn't end there; she was also able to anticipate where he was about to perform any skill or technique in advance before countering it, constantly stopping Cain from executing his skills or dodging them perfectly.
"What a cheat," Cain mumbled in pain. "I wonder who's the cheat between you and I," Cain inwardly complained.
Meanwhile, Hazy, the assailant, was cleaning herself with a towel that wasn't there.
