"Huff... how long have i been running again" Cain said as he rested his back on a wall while trying to catch his breath...
After Cain ran away from there, he felt a killing intent so intense that it could closely rival his mum's.
Knowing nothing good would come out if he slowed down and was caught.
He kept on running wishing he had more legs...
Well, finally his home. he can`t wait to finally see his mum`s Daemons...

As he opened the door, Cain saw the chair his mum usually sits on whenever he returns from school empty.
"Mum ???" yelled Cain...

With a puzzled expression, Cain dropped his school bag on the chair and searched the entire house.

First came shock, worry, confusion, then an excited expression...
"Yessssss..... I finally have the whole house all to myself" screamed Cain with so much excitement that his saving grace was that the house was sound proof...
With joyful tears in his eyes, he rushed to the parlor to sit to watch T.V ..
He saw a letter and a warped box on the center table...
"Hmmmm.... what might u be... an email from who" ...
And it's not yet Christmas or thanksgiving.... he thought.
"Ohh, it's from Mom" said Cain with a pale expression.
After that statement, he wished he had never seen the letter and feigned ignorance that he had not seen it...
Well, since I had already seen the letter, why not read it...
As he took the letter and started reading it...
"So, Mum left to find Dad "... said Cain with a serious expression as he continued
"Dad needs help with something" ...

Cain would rather choose a canine Daemon than choose something that doesn't fit his handsomeness...

That's how thick-skinned Cain is ....
A Daemon essence is extracted from the body of an Ewer.
Such activity does not cause any problem with the said Ewer as it can easily be recovered after a day of rest.
But the more essences drawn from the body can cause regression of one's realm or, the worst case is the inability to cultivate further.
Both for both parents of Cain to give such an amount of essence shows deep affection for their son...

He tried to pull the cube away from the two essences.
With the little strength he has, how can he stop the essence from sinking straight inside the cube...
"no no no no no... what have i done" ... screamed Cain as he watched his parents' essences sink into it ...
"How am i going to awaken my Daemon now, "he said with confusion on his face as he stared at the cube ...
Cain's face was flipping through different emotions.
Surprised, shocked, scared, sad and rage...
"What shitty luck is this?"
"From surviving a dreadful encounter, to having my precious essences stolen right before my very eyes" stated Cain, with anger flowing out his face...
"You had better be worth more than those essences or else, I will throw you into the dustbin."
A moment later
The cube floated into midair as it started solving itself just like a Rubik's cube...
"Now what ??" ...Cain asked still angry over the loss of his essences...
