"Uhhh" Cain mourned in pain.
With a deep frown, Cain slowly opened his eyes.
"Where...a...am I?" His voice struggled to leave his throat.
Turning his head to the left with the little energy he has, Cain turns to see a face he didn't expect to be there.
"Arial?" Cain probed, hoping he got her name right.
Softly lifting her head, sleepy eyes indicated she must have stayed with him all night.
"Uhh... Cain... are you awake?" She softly asked, with a loving and caring tone.
She stretched her fingers to touch his face to make sure he was fully awake.
"Oh?! You are awake..." She bolted back in shock, dizziness leaving her body the instant her suspicion was confirmed.
Cain watched all this dumbly and confused.
'How did she get here?' Cain wondered as he stared at her.
With all his senses slowly returning to him, Cain felt a soft sensation in his hands and fingertips.
