"That's right, Miss Ghost. Deep down, you love me!" he insisted, whispering in her ear.
"I do not!" Tang Zhixi shot back immediately.
"Yes, you do," he countered. "If you didn't, why would you keep interrupting my scenes? And don't try to tell me it's because you were afraid of me catching germs. I'm not a child, Miss Ghost. I won't believe in such stupid reasons."
"You did that because you're jealous and don't want me to kiss anyone else. You want me all to yourself, don't you?" he probed.
Tang Zhixi stared into his eyes and seeing the triumphant smile on his face as if he knew the truth and wouldn't accept anything else, she sighed slowly. He was right: she was indeed jealous and didn't want him to kiss anyone else.
But could she accept that? Could she be honest about her emotions and feelings?
The answer was no.
