There were numerous occasions where she noticed Lu Sisi behaving in a way where she looked at Pei Xingcheng not like a friend, but more like a one-sided lover. She would become overly concerned about his well-being, fretting over minor injuries during filming and while he would do romantic scenes, her face would reveal a trace of jealousy.
Then taking advantage of the fact that she was being his assistant, she would try to get close to him or touch him on several occasions. She would always ask him out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner which Pei Xingcheng would often reject her.
But because she was his friend, he did agree to join her for a meal one time. But, he also brought her along. During that outing, she observed how Lu Sisi couldn't stop reminiscing about their childhood memories, while occasionally bringing up the fact of how sad she was when he rejected her marriage proposal and how many men she had to date to get over him.
