"What am I supposed to do with those children without you, Addie?" Lennox grumbled, as he rested his head on Adrienne's shoulder.
Vaughn had already left to seek out his younger twin brother, and the couple hoped that the twins would resolve their issues amicably. They knew that the twins had a strong bond and believed that their connection would help them find a resolution. However, Lennox couldn't help but worry about the responsibility of taking care of the children on his own while they were away, far from Adrienne.
"You'll do well, Len. You've been a good older brother to them so far." Adrienne reassured Lennox. "Aren't you already close with Noah and Samantha?"
"That's only because you are here, Addie. Do you think those children would spare me a look if you weren't with me?" Lennox sighed. "At least I did a good job of choosing a great sister-in-law for them."
