In the middle of the night, Lennox opened his eyes lazily, feeling refreshed and invigorated at the same time. He had just woken up, but his eyes were already fierce cold. His black pupils were dark like the winter night. A layer of frost was on his face as he stared at the ceiling. That was until he suddenly felt something unusually soft pressed against his body. He lowered his head, and a familiar scent assaulted his nose.
Under the faint glow of the moonlight outside his window, he saw Adrienne snuggled by his side like a satisfied kitten. She was sleeping soundly with her arms wound around his middle section. Adrienne must have unconsciously moved closer to him, seeking warmth as the weatherhad recently turned chilly. He was sure there was a decent amount of distance between them when he fell asleep, and the bed could fit at least five adults, yet Adrienne was here, seeking his body for comfort.
