Marynku people have large families.
Dozens of wives and dozens of kids. Even Xeqani and Otuken, both have a few children.
Of course, after the battle most of them have been killed off and those who are spared are too young to possess a threat to him.
And while Marynku families could be large, they still needed to cooperate with others to successfully plan their movements, obtain food, and protect themselves.
Men who were related to each other grouped their families into clans, which could include hundreds of people.
As clans grew larger, they divided into smaller groups that often migrated together.
They each selected a leader, or chief. Sometimes it is called Warchief. Other times just chief. Sometimes they are called a Khatur
It is a position chosen not based on seniority but the person ability to lead, given to a person of merit
Clans joined larger groupings, called tribes usually for defence or to coordinate hunts and military actions against other tribes.
Since the tribes combined different clans, they sometimes were governed by councils made up of the heads of each clan, especially when one individual person was not strong or respected enough to be chosen as overall leader.
And Aeryon had eaten too fast and eaten to large of a land.
He could not rule all of it.
Of course, when compare to the entirety of the Great Steppe, the pieces of land that he now ruled, seems small in comparison. But to the small tribes around this area, Aeryon had already become a threat.
This is the reason why Aeryon advocated surrender and those who surrender quickly is treated generously and honourably by Aeryon
The four tribes that surrender to him is the Khamar tribe. The Ongul. The Kerey and the Jigorn tribe.
Each of their leader is given an elder title.
Aeryon wanted to change some system of his tribe.
And after his victory, his prestige in the clan surpassed the elders. Of course, this did not mean that Aeryon wanted to get rid of the Elders
After all, they are one of his biggest supports. Those who help him, how could he not reward them?
And those who betray him, how could he not punish them? There must be some fairness in the tribe so that those who do good are rewarded and those who do evil punished.
Only then the world could be ordered.
But for now, he is more interested in his reward
'I have been fighting non stop for three days and three nights. I have done things beyond the requirement of the quest. Please don't disappoint me' he mutters to himself
This is his wish to the system
"Complete the quest'' he thought in his head and a notification popped out.
The notification simply ask him if he was sure and he nodded
This time, he is sure.
He could no longer fight like he did before.
He chuckles.
"If I did not have that invincibility card, how could I fight like that?" he thought to himself.
Since all of that attack and power comes from the invincibility buff. Relying on his low-level understanding of fighting, he would probably die if he fought with a single warrior of the Great Steppe.
He might have some new understanding of using the sword the bows and the arrow, riding a horse and attacking while on the horse, but he still lacks a lot of strength
So, now, is the perfect time to hand it the quest
"I'm sure"
Ting!

Aeryon look at all the ability cards and he smile.
'Just when I needed it' Aeryon really needed a skill.
Actually, he knows nothing of fighting.
Even though he had learned quite a bit during his rampage, he knows that without the invincibility buff, he would not be as brave as he is during these past three days.
When he closes his eyes, he is back inside that house-like area in his mind. And he saw the seven cards floating
Aeryon look at the cards and then he thought to himself
'Use the cards' and the moment he thinks of it, these cards all floats a few inches up and turns into a motes of light.
The motes of light instead of disappearing all rushed toward Aeryon. Aeryon for some reason did not feel that the light would harm him and he simply close his eyes.
The motes of light enter his body and suddenly Aeryon had all kinds of knowledge swimming in his mind.
There is fighting methods, archery methods ways to fight and he felt like he had learned it a few years ago, like it is part of him.
And then he opens his eyes and he was back where he started. Not in a room, but in his tent.
'That….is quite the magical experience' he mutters to himself.
He now had all the seven skill. He did not check yet what the skill does, instead, he looks at the resources card he had gotten
Aeryon was extremely delighted. Before, the reward of the completion of the quest was one random resource card.
But now, he has three.
"It is worth it doing all of this stuff. At least I confirm that if I did something extra, I would be rewarded"
Aeryon was worried that the system would not acknowledge what he had done and he would have wasted all of that time.
He was relieved. And then he checks his status window again looking at the resource card.
Meat is important but the more important thing for him right now is wood.
He realizes that the tribe needed wood to create fortification.
He did not want to create a tall stone wall.
All he needed in the vast Steppe is not tall strong stone wall but simply a fortification of wooden wall
At least, to defend their area from getting so easily ambushed in a raid by other tribes nearby
If there is even a wooden wall, at the very least, a few raiding parties could not simply come and attack directly to his tent
Of course, Aeryon realizes that he must also seek a ground that is not affected too much by the rain, which has enough heat and cold
Even though the area that he is in is not an ideal place to create a city, he did not want to create a city but simply a fortification.
A few wooden tower and outlook post, a few wooden rampart and so on and that is enough to deter the small tribe from trying to raid his tribe
And for all of this…. what he needed is not meat but wood. And now, the system gives him such a resources
"But how much?"
Still, Aeryon did not immediately check the amount of wood he got. There was something else that caught his attention more than the resource card.
It was the skill points and the attribute points
"I didn't expect the system to give me the attribute this way"
he did not know if the attribute that has been unlocked is all the attribute he could unlocked or whether there is more attribute that could be unlocked.
"Now I think my status window would be fuller"
"This will be my methods of surviving"
Only after seeing these he felt like some of the fears and worries shrouding him slowly dissipated.
He reminded himself again that if there is one advantage that he has among these harsh people and this harsh world, it was that he has the system
He would not put all his trust in the system but he would not mind using it to survive.
