{Thanks, Mid Main, for the support. Here's the chapter}
Sitting in his bed, Ralf thought about his encounter with Queen Eirwen. Even though he could have declined her request, Ralf decided not to. Getting to sleep with that lady wasn't the reason for that; well, it was one of them, but not the main one.
First, he too wanted to know what Cedric was up to. He was one of the biggest barriers on his way to the throne, and he couldn't just sit back and let that bastard scheme against him.
The second one was Eirwen.
By talking to her, Ralf realised that she was not as iron-willed as he had expected. She had a weakness, a vulnerability, that he could use in his favour. If he could somehow make her believe that her son had left her and was completely bewitched by Titania. Then, playing the right cards, he could gain her favour, thus gaining the support of the royal council too.
