#Chapter166
I ran inside the melting castle, my world was ending before my god could open his eyes. Maybe I'll die before I ever get to speak to him. Before I know of other civilizations and realms. Before I know of stars or demons. Mortal sciences or mathematics. I, overcome by emotions, hugged the body of the god and wept like a child.
Everything was over.
I must have fallen asleep while crying because when I woke up, I was still hugging the god. All my surroundings were frozen just like they did five years ago when I had my brother's blood in my body. I lay him on the bed and walked out of my room. Everything was ruined, the chandeliers had fallen, the walls were smeared with soot, it seemed as if I was in some ancient, gothic ruin. The cathedral had burnt away, the curtains were half burnt. Everyone was gone.
The silence was dreadful.
