/"We are going to die!/" She shrieked as we fell.
/"Not so fast,/" Lict made a golden slide and we all fell on it and slid down towards the ground. It was fun—Like that amusement park rides mortals enjoy. We landed on my bed inside the hotel room. Have I ever told you that I love Lict's powers? Wish I had something like that. His blood had stained his clothes. Aleksei and Maks walked inside my room after hearing that loud noise. We were all covered in blood.
/"Lemme guess—A parade?/"
/"Get a first aid kit,/" Lord Akagi ordered. He and I had healed already. We just needed a bath to clean off the blood. And Melissa was clean thanks to that transformation. Lict needed some help with his hands. Lord Akagi went for a bath and Melissa followed him—Seriously, talk about shameless! Leave the man alone. I was about to follow her and pull her away from him but then I saw Lict sitting on the floor and taping his hands.
