"So, this is Mount Emei," Chen Tian murmured, his gaze lingering on the towering
mountain before him.
Mist clung to the ancient stone pathways, and the peaks stretched so high they pierced the clouds, their tops obscured from view.
They stood on a forbidden side of the mountain, a place off-limits to tourists. The path before them was veiled in thick fog, and the air felt dense, as though the very atmosphere resisted their approach.
"I never knew such a place existed on Mount Emei," Aria whispered, scanning their surroundings with awe and curiosity.
"Typical," Emilia added softly. "Places like this are usually hidden from tourists. No one's allowed here."
"This place isn't anything special," Ming Lei cut in, his dismissive tone slicing through the air. He surveyed the misty landscape with a bored glance, as if the whole scene were little more than an inconvenience.
