The night was long... Ella couldn't sleep well, she thought of all that had happened and these thoughts hindered her from sleeping...
"how will I even show my face in school?..how will people look at me...I think I'll just go to Miss Verna tomorrow and plead to regain my scholarship"...

"Miss Verna I'm really sorry, I don't know what came over me, urhmm I'm ready now...I'm ready for the scholarship.."Ella said crying, as she knelt down infront of miss Verna in her office...."Ella dear.."miss Verna said "you were very brilliant..you still are. I was displeased with the attitude you put up...i mean..you were favoured amongst manyy and yet you declined the offer..I'm sorry to say.. it's too late...you can't enjoy your benefits any longer".. Ella cried her eyes out.."I am finished" she said....
she couldn't believe this was happening, she just walked slowly along the hall way with head bow..she was humbled. Her pride was taken from her .she has nothing left to offer..as she walked into class... there was chattering and whispering...some whispers she heard(who ever knew the popular Ella will become a peasant?..pathetic😂)..this weakened Ella..but she acted like she hadn't heard..she took her sit in class still looking down...it was a really embarrassing thing to ever experience...
David walked in with the untouchables and took the back sit ...they booed and jeered at Ella until it became unbearable..she placed her head on her locker and cried a lot...
when she finally managed to be herself once more...she thought of talking to Ethan...she wanted to apologize to him..she turned to look his direction to make sure he was there but what she saw made her ashamed of herself...
Ethan was chatting and laughing with Thalia.

Ella was sad..she turned back and prayed for the day to be over so that she could go home....
