Kouta's seeing walking towards his classroom. "I woke up earlier than usual... I guess I'll be the first one in class." he spoke with a smile. The door slides open, he enters the classroom.
He then sits down on his table. "Ahh... first one-" he stopped. Junko's sitting at the teacher's table, grinning. "Good morning Shiwamari-kun~" she said with a giggle. She then walks towards him. "Hmm?~" she hums as she's walking, Junko sits to her seat.
The boy just stares at her, wondering what she's about to say. Junko notices, "You're about to say 'I'm the first one!' right?~" she answers with a smile. Kouta's dying of embarrassment, the embarrassed boy's cheeks were as red as a tomato. "Hehe, oh wait." she said as she's shuffling through her bag.
"Here, I bought you Iced coffee since you seem to enjoy it so much." she hands it to him, she also took out her own drink which was an Iced Chocolate. Kouta was shocked, he then accepts her offer after getting pushed by her multiple times.
He continues to open the bottle cap, "Thanks Kyoko." he answered, unexpectedly saying her first name.
First Name in Japan's Culture:
It's extremely rare to call someone by their first name alone in Japan. Unless they're a very close friend, lover, or a child. The culture is slowly changing, but Japan is still very much a "last name" culture. You should avoid this, especially in a professional setting.
Junko realizes this, as her face started to turn red. Kouta on the other hand is worried since he never uses first name with any of his classmates, not even Junko. "I'm sorry Junko-san I shouldn't said that-" he stops when he saw the face she's making. The girl's blushing until it reaches her ears, she quickly turned to the other side.
"J- Junko-san...?" he asked worriedly, he wonders if she's mad. The girl was silent, "You dummy..." she spoke softly. Kouta didn't heard it, "What was that?" he asked. The girl took a deep breath, and turns around. "I said you're a dummy, hehe." she said with a smile. Her tone was like she's over the moon. The boy was clueless, but he brushed it off. The two continued with their daily conversation until school starts.
