Asahi found himself in an unfamiliar place, a living room, trashed, with broken shards of glass laying all around. Just as he was examining his surroundings, he heard a sound,...
□□"DRIP.....DRIP"□□
He turned around abruptly, seeing as he heard the sound from behind him. The was a room there, it's door left slightly ajar. He walked cautiously towards it, still hearing the dripping sound getting louder. He opened the door, and saw it was a small bedroom. It had a dull gray wall, a bulb and then mattress sitting on the ground without a bed. He noticed a boy, sobbing in the far corner of the room. He made his way to him quickly, but when he had reached the middle of the room, something fell on his hand. "Blood--?" He then noticed the pool of blood he was stepping in. He looked up, and saw it. There was a body pin ed to the ceiling. It was the body of a large man, his throat slit and his body stabbed at least 10 times. He watched as he saw what was pinning the body onto the ceiling....."Those are....golden.....feathers." He turned back to the boy and saw his blonde hair. He was huddled together, crying into his knees."Matteo??" Asahi approached, him, and then suddenly, The scene changed.
"Dad I need to go to school I--" "DON'T CALL ME YOUR FATHER!! DON'T DO THAT.....EVER! I'M NOT YOUR DAD. YOUR STUPID MOTHER DIED HAVING YOU....AND LEFT ME HERE WITH YOU. IT DOESN'T HELP THAT YOU LOOK EXACTLY LIKE HER! YOU ARE NOT MY SON....YOU ARE JUST A BURDEN. YOU ARE STILL THINKING ABOUT GOING TO SCHOOL, HUH? I'M NOT GOING TO SEND YOU--GO GET A SCHOLARSHIP OR SOMETHING-GET OUT OF MY SIGHT, ANNOYING BRAT....." Asahi stood there watching this whole scene play.
Matteo had already passed the scholarship test and only needed him to buy books. Just as he was about to move from his standing, the scene changed once more. They all seemed to be standing just outside Matteo's house. A well dressed man with brown hair and glasses on walked up to Matteo's father, and shook hands with him. "I'm William Collins. I'm the principal at Deacon Legacy? The school your son, Matteo applied to? He actually passed and I offered him a full scholarship, however he tells he doesn't have any of the necessary books. I would be happy to give them to him and also--" "Yeah yeah whatever, God knows I wouldn't have bought em...." "Um but sir-- I'm also interested in getting him to live with me. He does tell me He needs a much more uh...peaceful environment....." "Whoa....Hold on there. He needs to repay me for taking care of him all these years." Just then, the man handed him a brief case full of money, and he didn't even look back at Matteo. Matteo's anger was visible, yet he kept his cool and left with the principal.
