As they followed the leader, Myalis looked at the place they were in and her eyes narrowed it seemed quite luxurious but couldn't figure out whether it was just a mansion or something else and decided to let it go since she was in no mood for that.
"This is one of our bases, Seraphina," The captain said and she looked at him, then he smiled before walking beside her and she exhaled deeply.
"I figured that much, but what are we doing here exactly?" She asked.
"He wants to talk about these things even though he is in a foul mood right about now so if he is rude in any way, please know that he doesn't mean it and excuse him," He responded and she smiled at the captain.
"Damn, you really respect and like him, don't you?" She asked and he chuckled.
"You can say that things are a bit complicated in our lives," He responded and she scoffed.
