"Liam! Wake up, you're late for school!"
A loud yell woke a seventeen years old boy, with silver hair, pale skin and scrawny body, he groggily rubbed his eyes and rolled sideways.
BAM!
'Uhh!" He groaned in pain as he slammed to the ground, propping himself up and rubbing his nose, he stared at the beautiful woman before him "Mom!, I just had the best dream in my life and you just had to..."
He words halted when his mother quipped "was it about finally getting a girlfriend".
An angry blush appeared as he hurriedly stood up and bolted to the bathroom, his mother chuckled softly and walked away.
Liam transferred his anger to his brush which inturn transferred it to his teeth, Ouch!, He yelped and rubbed his aching gums through his jaws.
He rinsed his mouth and stared at the mirror, shoulder blades length silver hair, black eyes and thin lips, all these features made him a handsome boy but it had to be ruined by his scrawny body and sick pale skin.
Sometimes he felt even among the vampires he watched in movies his skin was much worse.
'their skin has a cooler shade', he laid down his facts and stared down at his body, he could even see his ribs and no amount of food could change it.
He was diagnosed with a strange disease that was known as starving cells, well the name also puzzled him but when the doctor explained he totally understood.
Once he was done, he wore dark blue jeans and a white top, he also covered it with a huge black hoodie, he smiled as he saw himself in the mirror.
The hoodie covered his scrawny body revealing only his face which glorified his handsome features, he nodded pleased with his look, grabbed his backpack from where he threw it and left the room.
He slung it on one shoulder and walked down the stairs, their house was a two story building with the bedrooms at the top floor and the sitting room, dining and kitchen at the ground floor.
He stopped halfway down the stairs and lifted into the air and landed steadily on the wooden floor, a cocky smile appeared on his face.
"You do that again, then you'll be my new apprentice"
Hearing his father's words he trembled and quietly walked through the moderately designed sitting room, which had a shelf adorned with pictures and few treasured objects, the color of the couch matched with the rolling table.
A 32 inch TV and cable which was currently on a news station, few flowers were stationed at the corners which he had to accept gave a refreshing vibe to the room.
He entered the dining which was directly linked to the kitchen with no demarcations and sat while avoiding his father's gaze.
"Did you take your doze last night?"
"Umm.. I.. umm" Liam stuttered while pinching his fingers underneath the table.
"You didn't take your doze!" His father's loud angry voice made him tremble, well though his father loves him, his strict character always frightened the reckless Liam.
"Honey let him be, but sweetheart please take your doze, can you do it for me" his mom pleaded with large eyes moistening up.
Liam hurriedly nodded and his father laughed loudly with Lucy cleaning away her fake tears and carrying their dish to the table.
Liam glared at his father "what! This is not the first time I've warned you but you keep falling for it" John chortled as picked up bacon and stuffed it in his mouth.
"Honey, do you know Liam dreamt about finally getting a girlfriend," Lucy said excitedly.
"Really!" John exclaimed with wide eyes as he turned to Liam whose face was as red as a cooked shrimp, he kept looking around in case anyone heard his mother.
He jerked as his father's huge palm slammed his back "you're finally becoming a man.... This is good.... So when are you leaving the house?"
"What!!" Liam hollered as his parents began laughing once again.
••
BAM!, He slammed the door shut and picked up his skateboard, with large strides he left his compound, opened his backpack and brought out a black headphone and wore it, took out his phone from his pocket and connected with his Bluetooth, soon the speaker began booming with Liam nodding his head to the rhythm.
He dropped his skateboard and propelled himself with one foot, he deftly maneuvered through the crowded path, while absorbing the beautiful morning sight of tall buildings, expensive cars zooming past him as he named them, all these while in his own world, with his headphone on, not even a scream could reach his ears because of the volume.
Soon a beautiful black car stopped as the traffic had its dim red light glowing, the window slid down and the exquisitely beautiful face of a young woman appeared.
Liam couldn't believe such a beauty exists, he was a total fan of beautiful celebrities, he had a lot of posters in his room which his mom always tore and threw away, causing him to ignore her for the rest of the day.
His obsession for beautiful famous celebrities was so much that he neglected his illness and escaped to a concert with his friends where his illness acted up and he almost died, had it not been that his doctor was close to the area.
"So beautiful" he muttered with awe, her actions became slow in his eyes as he zoomed in, her luscious sensual lips felt so magnetic, an inside war was going on, a part of him wanted to at least say "hi" to the unearthly beauty while the other part warned him about his last experience, when she wrinkled her nose and chuckled.
It ended, the battle was won, he must say "hi" and nothing was going to stop him, well he spoke a little too soon.
A speeding motorcycle suddenly bolted out of the alley and Liam was coincidentally crossing that same place, the noise was So loud that Liam had to remove his headphone, the screams of people shouting for him to.....
