"Boys, explain the rules that I have told you." Famara ordered, and he was sitting down on the sofa and crossing his hands.
Two boys were standing there; Augustya was calm and collected like usual.
However, his cheeks were puffy. Perhaps he had been crying all night.
"Starting with you, Zekrom. What is the first rule?"
"Me?" Zekrom pointed towards himself, perplexed. "Ahhh! I remember!"
"We won't make any trouble and steal stuff from the supermarket." Zekrom answered with a sweet smile on his face.
" Short boy, what is rule 4?"
Famara Kelvis gave them the task of memorising all the rules and regulations before they arrived at Ferry Cosmopolitan Island.
"We will follow rule no. 3."
"Rule No. 3 is?"
"Don't fight with Zekrom, and maintain harmony with each other. Even how ugly and dumb he is." Augustya answered.
Zekrom's lips twitched. He side-eyed Augustya and took offence to his comment.
"Attention, please! We are arriving at our destination. As you look outside of the window, you will see the great statue of God the collector, Mr. Dan." Pilot announced.
Hearing this, Augustya maintained his posture while Zekrom ran over to the window.
The Ferry Cosmopolitan Island was on a big giant meteorite, where the centre of gravity held the meteorite to its position and made it stable for years.
The bald, old man welcomed them with their shining appearance. The big statue of a bald man that was made of gold, stainless steel, and other alloys. It was 789 feet tall, compared to the earth's tallest statue, the bald man slightly taller.
They had entered the Ferry Cosmopolitan Island parking space; therefore, they would need permission to land on the island.
Augustya, looking at the screen, saw a metal barricade that was stopping them from entering. He glanced at the pilot, whose expression was calm as ice.
"See the magic!" Pilot exclaimed.
The next moment, a blue ray passed through the spaceship and was examined. A few seconds later, they got a green signal to infiltrate the island.
"Do you want to make an announcement?" Pilot asked.
Augustya happily nodded his head, and his eyes brightened as if he would get a new mecha for himself.
He held the microphone and cleared his throat. " Cough! Attention passengers, we've arrived at Ferry Cosmopolitan Island. I request passengers to stay in the safe zone. "
"You did a good job, kid."
The behind-the-door spaceship opened as the rest gathered to bid farewell.
"Zekrom, you look pretty in black hair like a young and naive maiden, but your tan skin is just a little off." Famara complimented him but kept his laughing in control.
Zekrom glared at him and raised his voice, "You ordered me to do that. My face turned awful." Just like that tilted his head.
Famara ordered Zekrom to change his hair colour and adapt to the current situation so he wouldn't look flashy in front of the crowd
"When the shopkeeper asks what relationship we have, what will you say?" Famara questioned to both.
"You are our relatives, certainly our aunts and uncles." Augustya answered and kept a straight face.
"And?"
"Our parents adopted us from the Teal Z War." Both said it in unison.
For the past few rotations, Famara has been training them like parrots to recite every rule and regulation. His hard work finally paid off, as they sound like true parrots.
"Remember, come back before midnight." He warned them.
Everyone walked out of the pirate spaceship, including the pilot. Famara Kelvis was changing the look of the junkyard into a premium spaceship. It was necessary to change the appearance so that the Intergalactic Force, Division D, wouldn't find out. Additionally, the rest would remain the same. As in Igrius words, beauty does matter.
Amidst of all, Augustya had a grief expression unlike others who were in the mood of a party.
_____________
The Ferry Cosmopolitan Island was like Disney World but 10 times larger and cheaper. This was heaven for middle-class and lower-class species who wanted to buy good stuff but at a cheap price.
Hence, the quality of the product was slightly better than Dhina goods.
The bright light of mercury was pricking Augustya's eyes. He took a deep breath to calm his senses as his nose started bursting with the fragrance of fish sauce and gutter.
"This flashy place is so unhygienic and filthy. No waste management; rather, it seems like a rat party." Augustya complained, covering his nose with a mask.
The pitch-black sky was crowded with hoverboards and jetpacks. Augustya frowned after watching those low-grade species take away his share of comfort and serenity.
They set foot in the grand supermarket of Ferry Island Cosmopolitan. One of the biggest second-hand markets on Ferry Cosmopolitan Island. Their motto was that you could buy anything you wanted, or vice versa.
"Remember, don't be scammed by scammers or lured by their honey trap. "
"Boys, be aware of those women and men who had long hair and big artificial boobs. Most likely they are here to take advantage of you." Julie spoke in a serious tone and warned.
"Show me the bracelet that Famara provides you guys."
Augustya carefully listened and slightly raised his hands, unlike Zekrom, who was disinterested.
The bracelet had a GPS tracker and a communication device. It was also encrypted, so nobody could hack it.
"Now, we should have some fun."
Hence, everyone scattered with some money in their wallets.
After walking for a while, Augustya finally found a decent electronic shop and was pondering whether to enter. If there was no urgency, he would rather not go to a 3rd class shop. Therefore, a beggar can't be a chooser.
The shop seemed outdated, a lot of junk, old watches and pendulums were put in the dusty display window.
Hello, Ser!" The boy was hesitant to speak, however he gathered his courage and spoke. "Can you check my wrist watch and tell me what's wrong with it?"
A humanoid, who would be in his 70s, slowly came. "What do you need, kid." The old man squeaked in Igrius language.
There were three majority languages: Igirus, Martian, and Roohish. The majority of the species speak Igrius or have it as a second language.
An old man put a grumpy expression on his face. Besides, some teeth were gone from his upper jaw.
"You should look at my wrist watch and tell me what's wrong with it."
He wore the heavy old glasses, checked the wrist watch, and curled his lips.
"This looks old and broken. In my view, it would be a waste of money if you repaired it."
"How about you trade me this latest model watch? "
"I can't trade this. If this isn't your capability to restore it, then I will find another store who can."
The old man watched his expression and glowered. "Go ahead before that; you have to pay me for my service."
"Service? Are you aware that scamming people will imprison you?"
"Stubborn child, this is how business is done. Give me my service charge or I will call the guards. "
In a dystopian world, shopkeepers didn't ask for money but rather a service charge. As the Finance Law Act 10 says, you can't ask for money from customers directly or indirectly. If they didn't buy your product, you can request a service charge.
"How much do you want?"
"200 sols or 10 quartz." The shopkeeper responded and scratched his cheeks and widened his lips in amusement.
"Too expensive, and this rule states that if a customer desires, they will give willingly." He shrugged his shoulders and snatched back the watch.
"You know the rules better than me? You are a really stubborn child."
"Certainly yes!" Augustya's eyes colour changed to golden.
Seeing this, the old man stepped back a little, terrified.
"Would you care to explain to me what happens to my watch?"
"Young lad, you just need to change the battery of this watch; this will be turned into a brand new one."
Augustya walked shop with a victory smile he defeat a scammer.
Living with Zekrom, Augustya learnt a new tactic to be aware of scammers.
Two methods were always effective: first, fear, and second, negotiation. Beforehand, he noticed a grin that was an indication of scamming.
After buying necessities, he stood beside the food court where they would be eating together.
