Chapter 16 - CHAPTER SIXTEEN: Matching Jewellery

"Chakrii Malivalaya, just because of a necklace we have to wait for an hour? As your senior, I have a few words for you." She concluded as she walked towards Kiet Chomesri and stopped once in front of her.

"If you dedicate the time you have to matching jewellery and what a few to your acting profession, you won't have time to recite your script on the stage. You have wasted everyone else's time, I guess you have a work ethic issue."

Everyone in the room was shocked beyond words by Aom Chinda's words and rather kept their words to themselves but their astonishment to their faces.

Kiet Chomesri rolled her eyes and walked towards Aom Chinda and stopped once in front of her.

"Miss Aom Chinda!" She called out.

"Yes I am here." Aom Chinda replied.

"Do you know why I prefer to call you an honorific? You are a trained actress in the industry, you have trained for more years than I spent in high school but my friends back in school told me that I should respect my elders and those in authority regardless of their incompetence and arrogance and that is why I chose to be silent with you from the first moment we met." Kiet Chomesri spilled the secret with a hint of annoyance.

"Who are you calling incompetent?" Aom Chinda said out angrily.

"I woke up at 5AM to put on my makeup..."

"Who told you to wake up? Not me is it? Then why tell me the load of claptrap?" Kiet Chomesri interrupted.

"The director said that you would shoot the first scene, do you know how much time you took? I am wearing makeup for hours!" Aom Chinda inquired as she hit on her wristwatch using the forefinger of her index finger.

Aom Chinda had continued as if she had not heard Kiet Chomesri speaking.

"So what? What does you wearing makeup for hours have to do with me? It's not like I sit on your makeup or anything is it?" Kiet Chomesri started.

"My friends also told me that in the industry the main protagonist is the important one." Kiet Chomesri emphasised on the words 'main protagonist.'

"But without the supporting role then the main protagonist is utterly useless, isn't it?" Aom Chinda added.

"You have been in this type of showbiz for so many years, do you still need me to teach you the simple basics?" Kiet Chomesri inquired rudely.

"Don't be too arrogant after you have made it!" Aom Chinda interrupted in a loud voice.

"You were the same before, I hope that when I reach to your status. I won't be like that anymore!" Kiet Chomesri said.

After finishing her statement, Kiet Chomesri turned around and left for the other room.

"Miss Aom Chinda, do not be angry. Calm down, calm down." The camera Director tried to sooth Aom Chinda.

"I quit!" Aom Chinda shouted fiercely as she sat down on her seat.

Her chest was heaving up and down due to her slowly rising anger.

She angrily slammed the palm of her right hand on the table.

If the table was not made of strong material, it would have instantly broken into two.
