Now, if you thought this was the perfect time for revelries and prize-giving, you'd be forgiven for thinking so. Hel, even I thought I might actually share a pint of mead with a legendary dwarf king. Sadly, the Norns had other plans for how this reckless adventure should end.
First, let's deal with the big elephant in the room, and by that I mean the XXL mountain giant glowering at me from the other side of his king. A look of disbelief passed through Drakent's face as he heard King Drake—also his dad, from what I've heard—proclaim me and Liara heroes of Niðavellir.
Can I just say how nice that sounded; Heroes of Niðavellir.
Gods, I honestly can't stop repeating it over and over in my head even as Drakent scoffed at me.
"Ye can't be serious, My King," the burly mountain giant complained. "I saw this brat—"
