So, remember that line in the Cap of Invisibility's status about untethering one from the mortal plane and opening the path to an existence that was neither living nor dead?
Well, I got what that meant now.
See, as soon as I put on that cap, it felt like I just jumped into a pool of freezing water and then the world around me suddenly lost its color—and no, not like when I use 'Star-Spangled Sight' or 'True Insight'. This wasn't about highlighting specific items in my surroundings, but more like I'd put one foot into the grave, allowing me to step onto a world of shades kind of like what a certain hobbit sees whenever he puts on a certain dark lord's ring of power.
