I really should've expected this.
Expect one thing to happen, like, say, inheriting one of the most prestigious specializations in the realmsverse only to have my spirit shunted from my body and sent off to, well, I wasn't exactly sure where I was this time. It had a gorgeous view though.
The aurora sky of Mímisbrunnr had been an epic sight, but this sky above me now was carpeted by colorful stars soaring across a canvas of yellows and blues as if the sun I couldn't see was in a state of perpetual dawn and twilight. Epic would be an understatement.
"We're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy," I breathed.
The grass beneath my feet was of the most verdant kind. The flowers that cropped up here and there were as equally vibrant in hue as the colorful gems glittering in the sky.
