"Are you sure you're alright?" Liara asked for the fifth time since my episode occurred.
"I'm fine," I whispered.
The she-elf and I were standing next to each other on the steps beyond the Borgo Way's front porch, while the rest of our new raid team, twenty slaves—ahem—members in total, were gathered in formation on the sidewalk below us.
"I thought you said you had it under control?" Liara pressed.
"I did," I countered, frowning. "This was just a hiccup…"
"It didn't sound like it was just a hiccup… the whole team heard you howl like you'd gone—"
"Crazy?" I finished for her, my frown deepening.
She frowned back at me. "I didn't mean it like that…"
