A while after our conversation with Grandmaster Dwalinn, I found myself staring at the edge of a cliff by the far south end of the campus while wondering if I should've taken a nap first before accepting the Grandmaster's quest.
"Well, here we go again," I said.
Above us, the stars wheeled overhead, twinkling around the silhouette of Yggdrasil that was barely visible against an inky black backdrop.
"Off on another crazy adventure," I added.
Liara stepped over to my right side. "After the day we've been through, you'd think we would get a break once in a while."
"Fat chance of that happening," I chuckled. "The Norns are all about the drama. They'd never settle for a slow day. At least not when it comes to my life."
"High-octane action twenty-four-seven or over-the-top family drama?" Liara guessed.
