Chapter 76 - Surrounding and blocking off

"General Tyler, here's some water for you," Quinn Cooper timidly approached and handed him a bottle of water, making a motion as if she wanted to stick herself onto Tyler's body.

Upon hearing the unfamiliar voice, Tyler turned his head slightly and squinted his eyes, looking at Quinn Cooper with a cold and ferocious aura surrounding him.

Under Tyler's icy gaze, Quinn Cooper was too afraid to move and felt a chill running down her spine. She suddenly remembered that this was General Davis, also known as the ferocious General Tyler.

"Get out of here, and stay away from me," Tyler said coldly.

Quinn Cooper hurriedly ran away, her hands tightly squeezing the deformed bottle of water, and her lips tightly bitten.

A few girls nearby secretly sneered at Quinn Cooper. It was mainly because she had approached too close, making it appear that her intentions were not clear. Nowadays, students are as shrewd as foxes, so how could they not understand?

Many girls felt a sense of balance in their hearts. Tyler, such a prominent figure, and Quinn Cooper, who was usually so proud, were no different from ordinary girls, and probably couldn't even compare to them with a single finger. What was the point of being so proud?

Quinn Cooper felt a deep resentment in her heart. Her family had instructed her to please Tyler, now that he was their instructor. She was willing to do whatever it takes to make Tyler look at her differently, regardless of whether it was for her own benefit or through seduction.

During this time, Tyler had been calm, and occasionally interacted with students, making Quinn Cooper feel that he wasn't as terrifying as the rumors had made him out to be.

Quinn Cooper felt that she might actually have a chance, if Tyler's mood improved. With his godlike appearance, which woman wouldn't want to be close to him?

If Tyler really took a liking to her, if...there were no ifs! With the faint glance he had given her earlier, Quinn Cooper had a feeling that if she didn't leave quickly, Tyler would kill her.

Without comparison, there was no harm. She didn't mind other people getting close to Tyler, but for some reason, she directed her anger towards Amelia. Why should Ethan Sullivan from the Sullivan family like Amelia? Why should the students from Class 6 accept Amelia? Why would General Tyler even talk to Amelia?

Clearly, she was the best. She was better than Amelia in every aspect, whether it was in terms of family background or performance during military training.

"So what if she's good at fighting? She won't be able to pass the graduation test for military training, no matter how good she is," Quinn Cooper said viciously.

If there was anyone on the base who hated Amelia the most, it was probably this inexplicable Quinn Cooper. A woman's jealousy was always terrifying, especially when it was so inexplicable!

Amelia didn't know any of this. Even if she did, she wouldn't care. She was waiting in her dormitory, feeling good, waiting for General Tyler's arrival.

At this point, the combat training was almost over, with only fifteen days left until the end of the military training. Then, an announcement was made on the base.

"From today on, all training will stop. Study the contents of the books in your hands well, as you will be tested on them every two days. Only if you pass the test, will you be able to begin the final training project - live ammunition shooting. Just a reminder, live ammunition shooting is a must-pass item for your military training graduation."

All students at Saint Hua were frightened upon hearing this. They had only fifteen days left for graduation assessment, and they still had to pass the thick book in their hands before they could begin learning live ammunition shooting. This was not an easy task, especially with the urgent time pressure, which was a real challenge to their psychological stress.

This was the training method of Saint Hua University. It was not just about assessing learning ability, but also about seeing how many people could withstand such tremendous pressure and pass the written test under such conditions.

As soon as the announcement was made, almost everyone hurriedly left with their books. The book was so thick that it took at least two days to read. With such little time left, how could they possibly make it without being diligent?

Only Amelia remained calm and leisurely. She casually flipped through the book and closed it without any haste.

While everyone at Saint Hua was busy studying and even staying up all night with their phone's flashlight shining on the book, Amelia remained relaxed, which made people unable to watch her.

"Why isn't she studying?"

"She's just giving up. She won't pass the graduation assessment anyway, so what's the point of studying?"

"Ah, it's a pity that she has such great combat skills."

Everyone thought that Amelia had given up, and all her previously displayed combat skills had disappeared, making her destined to fail at Saint Hua.

Only Logan Hunter looked at Amelia and Tyler with a strange expression, feeling that something was not right. This was driving an honest man crazy.

Noah Foster was still able to hold a book while running to Amelia to express his dissatisfaction, asking her to study with them.

Ethan Sullivan secretly found Amelia and said in a cool and arrogant manner that even if she failed the test, he would not despise her, luckily Tyler didn't hear it.

Class monitor Wyatt Parker also earnestly advised her, but Amelia was annoyed by him and ignored him, behaving as cold as a stranger, which made Wyatt Parker angry and feeling that he had asked for trouble.

In fact, Amelia did read books, but she read very quickly.

Two days passed in a flash, and the students all looked tired and pale, as if they had been drained of their vitality by evil spirits. Nevertheless, everyone showed up for the first written exam, not believing they would pass but treating it as a learning experience to prepare for the next one.

In contrast to those who had given up hope, Amelia, who was thought to have given up on herself, walked into the exam room with a radiant face. She was dressed in camouflage clothing, looking like a fairy who had descended from the mortal world, creating a stark contrast with the others.

As the exam papers were distributed, everyone found the questions challenging and overwhelming. Wyatt Parker looked over at Amelia sitting beside him and was surprised to see her calmly pick up her pen and start writing.

The exam lasted for only sixty minutes, and everyone walked out of the exam room with dejected expressions. The proctor announced that the results would be posted on the bulletin board in two hours and then left the room.

The students discussed the exam results in small groups, with many feeling discouraged and believing that nobody would pass. They expressed disbelief that someone could memorize an entire book in just two days.

Amelia had always been a solitary person and didn't engage in discussions with others. However, she found herself trapped in the restroom by six girls who looked unfriendly.

Quinn Cooper, with a sharp voice, asked, "Don't you know who I am? How dare you not recognize me?"

"Why should I know you?" Amelia replied coldly. She actually knew Quinn from a wilderness survival trial, where she had even fought with her. She was just pretending not to recognize her to annoy Quinn.
