Chapter 42 - Fierce Dog Injures Person

Amelia held back and didn't rush in. With a fierce glare, she quietly retreated and walked towards the backyard of the villa.

She opened the iron gate to the backyard and walked in, only to be suddenly charged by a ferocious Tibetan Mastiff, with its mouth wide open, terrifying and extremely dangerous.

However, the Tibetan Mastiff came to an abrupt stop in front of Amelia, as if afraid of accidentally hurting her. It lowered its head and affectionately rubbed Amelia's palm.

"Good boy Potato, listen to me later."

Amelia touched the Tibetan Mastiff's head, and it obediently became gentle again.

Potato was a pet that Tyler gave to her when she first arrived at the villa. At the time, it was just a newborn puppy, but after five years, the Tibetan Mastiff had grown up and was now at the peak of its vitality.

...

Amelia walked back to the front door of the villa, settled Potato, took a deep breath, and pushed open the door of the hall directly. The two people in the hall turned around to look at her instantly.

Dylan Grant spoke first, eagerly asking, "Amelia, where did you go? I finally see you. Did Tyler hide you? Don't be afraid, I'll take you away."

Amelia gritted her teeth and didn't speak. Looking at this face, the madness and hatred in her heart almost erupted uncontrollably.

Seeing Amelia silent, Dylan Grant looked at her with a sad expression and asked, "Amelia, are you okay recently? Has he... has he been bothering you?"

His deep affection and concern made Amelia feel nauseous.

At this moment, Tyler was clearly on the verge of despair. He couldn't rejoice in Amelia's sudden return, but was afraid that after seeing Dylan Grant, Amelia would no longer have room for him in her eyes, and all her smiles and tenderness would be shown to another man.

It took a long time for Amelia to calm down and said indifferently, "I'm fine."

Amelia's cold eyes made it impossible for her to pretend to be joyful.

That look actually made Dylan Grant feel a chill in his heart, feeling that it was not at all like Amelia's eyes.

"Amelia... What's wrong with you? Have you forgotten me?" Dylan Grant continued to ask.

Dylan Grant never imagined that, after only leaving for a month, the woman who had been devoted to him seemed to have become a completely different person, so indifferent.

This woman was so easily deceived; she had been desperate for him before, but now she was probably angry that he hadn't shown up for so long.

Amelia sneered inwardly but didn't show it on her face. She walked up and didn't bother to reminisce warmly with Dylan Grant. She went straight to Tyler and sat down, answering inexplicably, "Of course, I won't forget you!"

Naturally, she wouldn't forget; how could she forget the deep-seated hatred and enmity from before? The exploitation and deception in her past life, the murderous conspiracies-how could she possibly forget?

"I knew it; you wouldn't forget me. How could my Amelia forget me?" Dylan Grant was affectionate and happy, raising his eyebrows at Tyler, extremely proud.

Amelia naturally saw it; she saw Tyler's pale and restrained appearance and didn't want to continue pretending.

She lightly tapped the coffee table, and suddenly, a Tibetan Mastiff rushed in without warning!

Potato ran in, roaring and pounced on Dylan Grant, biting his arm fiercely.

Dylan Grant was frightened by this sudden "accident." His years of training allowed him to react in time and dodge the vital points, struggling with the Tibetan Mastiff.

In the end, he was no match for Potato. In just a short moment, he was bitten in several places, and bloodstains covered the ground. His disguised handsome and elegant face was deeply scratched by Potato, looking like a demon.

Seeing that someone might die, Amelia pretended to be frightened and shouted, "Hey, Potato, come here! Why are you biting people indiscriminately?" She tightly held Potato's leash. "Dylan Grant, hurry and go. I'll hold it. It's too dangerous!"

Dylan Grant revealed his true face, completely disregarding whether Amelia holding the Tibetan Mastiff's leash was dangerous or not. Without any hesitation, he quickly limped away. "Don't worry, Amelia, I'll come to find you again in the future."

Tyler's suppression and sadness disappeared in an instant, and he looked at Amelia with a shocked and strange expression. Potato almost killed Dylan Grant.

Others didn't know, but he knew that Potato had only ever listened to Amelia from childhood to adulthood!
