Chapter 39 - Bet

said Ethan Sullivan to Amelia. "How many people do you think want to be my girlfriend? If you agree, I promise you can stay by my side for three months."

Ethan couldn't help feeling that Amelia's reaction was off. He thought that her shyness was probably the cause.

So many people would want to grab the opportunity to be with him for three months. But Amelia was not blushing with shyness. She looked at him with an indifferent expression and said, "I don't know where you get your confidence from. Let me be clear, step aside. Besides, you're far worse than my boyfriend!"

Amelia, who was once arrogant, was proud to have Tyler as her boyfriend. With a boyfriend like him, shouldn't she be proud?

"Oh my God!" someone exclaimed.

The cafeteria was not the best place to talk about love, but what happened today was destined to shock the entire Saint Hua.

The bold confession of Sullivan, the young master of the school, failed!

Amelia, who was 18 and just about 1.6 meters tall, needed to look up at Ethan Sullivan. But her prideful expression was even more powerful than Ethan Sullivan's.

The moment of her pride and confidence made Ethan Sullivan absent-minded. He didn't snap out of it until Amelia had already walked out of the cafeteria.

"Damn! She's a little demon!" Ethan muttered to himself.

It was the first time he had failed in front of a woman, but he quickly recovered. He became even more interested and followed Amelia in the direction she was heading. How could this little demon reject him? Ethan Sullivan thought to himself.

He ignored Amelia's statement about having a boyfriend. How could her so-called boyfriend possibly compare to him? Ethan Sullivan was confident that he would win her over, whether she was playing hard to get or pretending to refuse.

After the two main players left, the cafeteria exploded into chaos! Amidst the commotion, the top student class inexplicably began mocking Class 6.

"Hey, Amelia from Class 6, you've got some nerve not putting our class in your eyes. What's Class 6 anyway? A bunch of useless students, Saint Hua's dead last."

"I heard this survival game is really important. I wonder how many people from Class 6 will be eliminated this time! In my opinion, a low-achieving class like Class 6 shouldn't even exist at Saint Hua."

"That's right. Class 6 and our class are not on the same level. Our class received high praise from Saint Hua's upper management in the last test. I think we could have done better. I don't know what's going to happen this time."

It's like when a top student performs well but still pretends to have underperformed. It's sickening, and there's always a conflict between top and bottom students.

Due to Amelia's actions, the first-class students felt embarrassed and taunted Class 6 with a provoking sneer.

The Class 6 students were all seething inside, but what the first-class students said was true. Last month, one student from Class 6 was eliminated, which was not just a simple elimination in the competition but also a loss of the opportunity to attend Saint Hua University.

Outside of Saint Hua, they were all leaders, but when they arrived, they became the actual dead last, and Class 6 was indeed the worst in all aspects.

Moreover, if they didn't work hard, this gap would become even more apparent, and all the teaching resources and special treatments would be tilted towards the better classes.

"What's wrong? Are you guys upset? Do you have the guts to make a bet? Let's compare the number of people who pass this survival game. Are you up for it?" The first-class students laughed even more proudly.

The Class 6 students were so frustrated that they gritted their teeth, but no one dared to take charge and make the bet. It was downright unbearable!
