Chapter 36 - "Blanket, I love you."

"Military standing posture for twenty minutes!" Aiden Jameson barked the command, and immediately everyone stood up straight, chests puffed out, and backs straight, eyes fixed ahead.

The morning sun was already scorching, and standing at attention was the most basic and uncomfortable exercise. For ordinary people, twenty minutes of standing at attention was just a warm-up, but for Amelia, it was already causing sweat to pour down her back.

"One hundred frog jumps!"

"Two-kilometer weighted run!"

With each command that Aiden Jameson gave, it seemed as if he was deliberately pushing Amelia to her limits. She wouldn't be injured, but she could only rely on her willpower to persevere. While Amelia was still doing frog jumps, the other students had already completed their tasks.

Aiden Jameson indifferently allowed Amelia to go slower, but she had to complete the task.

Just then, the life supervisor came over with a blanket and threw it on the ground with a loud thud.

Aiden Jameson's face darkened, giving off an ominous vibe.

The first thing every military trainee had to learn was how to fold a soft and limp blanket into the shape of a dried tofu. If an unqualified blanket was found, the life supervisor would not hesitate to throw it out. Such incidents often occurred at the beginning of military training, but it had been a long time since the last one.

Everyone had a feeling of fear and anxiety, not knowing whose blanket it was on the ground. They were afraid of being called out, not because the punishment was too cruel, but because it was too embarrassing.

Amelia had just finished doing frog jumps and felt like she was trembling just by walking. She didn't know if she could endure running two kilometers.

She looked over and her face immediately turned cold because she recognized her blanket on the ground. The little bunny hidden in the blanket had fallen out.

"Amelia, come over here!" Aiden Jameson's face was stern as he shouted.

Calling out Amelia's name was unexpected, yet expected. In general, girls had a natural advantage in organizing and storing items, but that advantage did not exist for Amelia.

"You're a disgrace. Now, hold up your blanket and shout 'Blanket, I love you' one hundred times in the middle of the field. Let's see if you can fold your blanket properly in the future." Aiden Jameson sneered.

Amelia panted heavily without rebuttal, picking up the little rabbit and carefully placing it aside with a cold face. She was never one to tolerate things easily, but when it came to Tyler, she felt like she could handle anything, no matter how unpleasant or difficult.

"Hmph, bringing a doll to military training? Do you think you're on vacation?" Aiden Jameson sneered disdainfully with his arms folded.

Amelia tightened her grip on the rabbit. According to her inner thoughts, she didn't want to see or talk to any strangers. During the day, she could suppress her fears, but at night, if she didn't have this little rabbit, she wasn't sure she could sleep soundly.

It was a struggle for her to even make it to Saint Hua School, and Tyler only thought she had a momentary impulse. Nobody knew the pressure she carried in her heart - the autism that she had been unable to overcome, even after nearly dying from it once.

"Instructor, no one told me how to fold the sheets!" Amelia said coldly to Aiden Jameson.

After speaking, she picked up the sheets from the ground and dusted them off, holding them up as she walked towards the center of the playground. She was indeed dissatisfied. No one had told her how to do it, and no one had taught her how to fold the sheets neatly. But, the main source of her dissatisfaction was actually the little rabbit that almost got dirty.

Aiden Jameson raised his eyebrows, no longer laughing. His face turned cold, and for the first time, he expressed his disgust towards a student so clearly.
