Chapter 65 - Chapter 65 The Beast

As soon as Sain shifted his body, the sound of faint rolling sand could be heard.

In the distance, Stanton, who was in a state of mixed emotions of sadness and joy, suddenly shouted, "Who's there?!"

Stanton's sadness came from Mali's weakness and impending death.

His joy came from the fact that Mali had just regained a bit of consciousness.

As for Mali's refusal, Stanton didn't care.

He was a single-minded guy who only wanted to save Mali.

And now, with Sain's presence revealed, a hint of excitement flashed in Stanton's reddened eyes.

The presence of someone, or rather, something alive, meant there was food.

Mali and Stanton hadn't eaten or drunk anything for almost three days.

While Stanton could still hold on, Mali couldn't.

Stanton had to find the other person and tear them apart.

The other person's blood would moisten Mali's throat, and their flesh would fill their stomachs.

Stanton had gone mad from hunger and his emotions were alternating between excitement and frenzy.

He was now a beast in human form, and far more insane than the average Advanced Warcraft.

In Sain's sight, he saw a flash of crimson figure, and then the giant-like Stanton charging accurately towards his location.

This "beast's" sense of smell was even more exaggerated than Sain had imagined.

Moreover, Sain saw that the black nails on Stanton's palm had grown longer during the running process.

The slight redness in Stanton's eyes indicated that he was unlikely to have a normal conversation with Sain now.

Combined with the fact that he was charging at an incredible speed, Sain didn't even have time to introduce himself before he had to take out his Magic short wand to fight.

Being targeted by an Advanced apprentice who was already in a state of madness was not a pleasant experience, let alone one like Stanton who was not weak among Advanced apprentices.

Fortunately, hunger and fatigue had greatly reduced Stanton's strength.

When he was less than ten meters away from Sain, Sain's Intermediate magic was already prepared.

"Fire Wall Spell!" A huge wall of fire appeared in front of Sain.

The scorching heat made the already hot surrounding air and environment even more stuffy.

Stanton charged through the scorching flames of the Fire Wall Spell without slowing down even a bit.

A dark element flickered on Stanton's skin, and some hairs grew out of his body.

The guy covered his eyes with his right arm and jumped over the fire wall with ease.

After dodging the fire wall, a fierce smile appeared on Stanton's dark face.

Unfortunately, before he could grab his prey, Sain, who was originally standing there, disappeared!

Sain used an Advanced item, an invisibility cloak, to make his body completely invisible.

Although he couldn't hide his breath and voice, it was enough to deal with this stupid "beast" Stanton, who only relied on brute force.

Even the Fire Wall Spell Sain had cast earlier was just a cover-up.

The heat and visual obstruction of the Fire Wall Spell allowed Sain to hide even further with the invisibility cloak.

Immediately after the Fire Wall Spell, Sain's next attack spell was ready.

"Hand of Flames!"

A huge flame hand formed and was more powerful and effective than the Fire Wall Spell.

Although Stanton's behavior of charging through the Fire Wall Spell was impressive, he was not completely unharmed.

Obvious burns on his arms, thighs, chest, etc.

indicated that even an Advanced apprentice who mastered Blood Magic couldn't be immune to Fire Elemental.

And then, Sain's Hand of Flames clearly aimed at Stanton's relatively vulnerable head.

"Roar!" In a critical moment, Stanton roared.

A thick black light appeared again, and this time, his whole head underwent a transformation.

Apart from two sharp fangs growing out of the corners of his mouth and a pair of black furry ears on his head, even his hands turned into a pair of black giant palms.

The highly anticipated Hand of Flames did burn off many of Stanton's hairs when he protected his head with his hands in time.

However, it didn't deal a fatal blow to this strong and tenacious guy.

After the duration of Hand of Flames ended, Stanton's body was covered in singed hair, and the scars on his body were so numerous that it was frightening to think about what he might have experienced before.

The mixture of blood and scars made Stanton look like a man at the end of his rope.

When Sain thought this big guy would charge at him as before, this giant who had been stimulated by two rounds of Blood Magic, with a size of 2.5 meters, stumbled forward and fell down with a loud bang!

The power source of Blood Magic comes not only from the Magic Spring accumulated through the daily Meditation of Magicians but also from the supplement of blood.

Under normal circumstances, the Magic Spring in the blood makes Stanton more adept at fighting and enduring than other Magicians of the same level.

But blood is both a blessing and a curse.

Because Stanton was extremely weak at this point, he even had a certain degree of anemia because he had just donated blood to Mali.

Therefore, after two activations of Blood Magic, he lost the last bit of strength.

This was also a display of Stanton's stupidity and recklessness.

If it were any other Dark Magic Apprentice, they would have found a way to leave some residual strength for themselves to escape or for other purposes.

Only the Stanton in front of him, regardless of the consequences, foolishly took on two of Sain's magic attacks.

It seemed that if his Magic Spring hadn't been exhausted, this guy would have continued to fight Sain head-on.

Taking a deep breath, Sain walked out of invisibility.

The Advanced magic items that Mentor Mosido gave him were truly useful.

If it weren't for the invisibility cloak, Sain would have been in a much worse state when battling Stanton.

He might even have been injured by the guy with the black hands, especially after Stanton's Magic Spring was triggered twice.

Sain, emerging from his invisibility, held the Acidic Wand of Strength in his hand.

Stanton, the big guy, was not dead yet.

Although he had fallen down, his chest was still heaving, and he had tried to stand up more than once.

With extensive burns all over his body and countless old scars on his body, Stanton looked even more fierce and terrifying.

Sain didn't immediately use the Acidic Wand of Strength to take the guy's life.

That would be a waste, as the wand had a cooling time.

Moreover, he wanted to ask the big guy something.

"Why are you here? The order and time for Advanced apprentices and Intermediate apprentices to enter the Space-Time Rift are different. How could you two have met?"

"Also, where are the other Advanced apprentices and potential Magicians?"

"If you tell me, I might spare your life."

A secondary fireball appeared in Sain's hand, and he looked at Stanton with his wild animal-like eyes.
