Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 The Teacher's Banquet

The house where Master Mosido resided was quite large. Besides being a standalone three-story building, each floor had seven or eight rooms.

The quiet environment was perfect for Magicians and magic apprentices to study and explore knowledge.

Especially in the side room that Master Mosido pointed to and where Sain entered, he found that his Mental Power concentration speed had increased.

There must be a hidden Magic circle in the room that had some effect.

To outsiders, the Magicians' practice and the path to truth exploration may seem boring and dull, but Sain, who was absorbing knowledge in the side room, did not feel that way.

"Introduction to Alchemy" and "Basic Knowledge of Fire Elementals" were courses Sain had taken before.

However, he was surprised to find so many knowledge points that he had not explored or paid attention to, thanks to the notes Master Mosido had marked in the two magic notebooks.

Two magic notebooks could not be read through in a day or two.

By the end of the day, when Sain's stomach was growling, he had only briefly skimmed through five pages of "Introduction to Alchemy" and carefully absorbed and understood two pages of knowledge points.

These two books were enough for Sain to digest and absorb for one or two months by himself.

No wonder Master Mosido entrusted them to him, hoping that Sain could cultivate himself during this period of time.

As for the initial Meditation Technique, Sain had not immediately touched it.

He felt that he needed to take things one step at a time.

Although he had not received any clear prompts, he had a vague feeling that Master Mosido seemed to value the two parchment notebooks more than the Meditation Technique.

After all, the initial Meditation Technique was just a part of the Mental Power inheritance passed down from Master Mosido's predecessors, while the two magic notebooks were Master Mosido's own work, a crystallization of his wisdom and knowledge.

In the Wizarding World, knowledge inheritance was highly valued by spellcasters.

Although this was the territory of Dark Magicians in the Shadowy Territory, they were still a type of Magicians.

At the end of the day, the feeling of hunger in his stomach and the "tick-tock" sound of the magic quartz clock in the living room signaled that it was already late.

Just as Sain was considering whether he should say goodbye to his mentor and leave, the door of the room he was in opened gently.

A peculiar humanoid metal frame appeared in his sight, emitting a faint red light from the top of the frame. Shortly after, a rather stiff voice came through: "Master Mosido has summoned you to the dining room on the second floor. Please follow me."

The metal frame in front of him was obviously a non-living being. The appearance and origin of this strange object aroused Sain's curiosity.

As a formal Dark Magician, the power and mysterious methods that Master Mosido possessed made Sain yearn for them.

During the process of following Master Mosido to learn, Sain believed that higher-level magic and mysterious phenomena would be presented to him one by one.

When Sain arrived on the second floor with the metal frame, he found that Master Mosido had already arrived and was sitting in the main seat of the dining room. Besides Master Mosido, there were two other people in the dining room at this time, sitting on Master Mosido's left and right sides.

The one on the left was a man in a light yellow magic robe.

Dark Magic Academy apprentices usually wore black robes, so the man in front of him wearing a metallic yellow robe was quite rare.

The person sitting on Master Mosido's right was a woman who appeared slightly younger, but obviously older than Sain.

Her whole body was wrapped in a black robe, except for a fair face that Sain still remembered vividly.

"Hehe, you're here." Master Mosido's usually gloomy face now had a slight smile.

After nodding towards Sain, he introduced him to his two disciples.

"This is my new disciple, and he will be your fifth junior brother."

"If he has any questions about magic knowledge or elemental domains in the future, the two of you should guide him in a timely manner." Master Mosido instructed his two disciples beside him.

"Yes, Master," the two disciples answered respectfully.

Strictly speaking, Sain should address them as "Senior Brother Zoro" and "Third Senior Sister Faye".

Senior Brother Zoro, who had been with Master Mosido the longest, didn't look particularly outstanding, but Sain could feel a heavy pressure from him.

It was evident that his strength exceeded that of a typical advanced apprentice.

Whether he had reached the level of a formal Dark Magician or not remained unknown, but Sain felt that his strength might be equivalent to that of an Overseer of the academy.

Third Senior Sister Faye introduced herself as an advanced apprentice.

Sain could tell that of his two senior siblings, Third Senior Sister Faye was more enthusiastic, while Senior Brother Zoro just nodded slightly to show his approval.

With the strength and knowledge of his two senior siblings, teaching Sain, a mere low-level apprentice, was no problem.

After all, Master Mosido was a formal Dark Magician, and he had many magic research and experimental projects at hand.

He also frequently undertook alchemy tasks commissioned by other magicians.

Naturally, he didn't have much time to teach Sain specifically.

The master leads the way, and the apprentice follows the path on their own.

Before Sain thoroughly mastered the two magic notebooks and was promoted to an intermediate apprentice, he probably wouldn't receive much personal guidance from Master Mosido.

As for the dinner in the restaurant, there were several delicious and aromatic dishes and some peculiar-looking desserts.

It was unclear whether it was because this was Sain's first dinner with Master Mosido, or if the master and his two disciples were always so luxurious.

Among the many delicious dishes on the table, one was the Black Mermaid Scale Fish that Sain had wanted to eat with Lena two days ago.

Furthermore, the other dishes, judging by their appearance, were similar to the Black Mermaid Scale Fish and were made from Enchanted Creatures, even magical beasts.

During the meal, Sain learned from the enthusiastic Third Senior Sister Faye that the humanoid metal frame that led him up earlier was an Alchemical Puppet personally designed and developed by the master.

However, this puppet was still in the prototype stage, so it only looked like a frame.

Although not particularly impressive in combat ability, this Alchemical Puppet is sufficient for use as a daily servant.

In fact, during Master Mosido's experiments, this puppet was sometimes more useful than the average apprentice.

At the dining table, Faye senior sister was the one mainly communicating with Sain.

Meanwhile, the eldest disciple Zoro was frequently whispering to the master.

Due to his strength and knowledge, Zoro is probably the most capable of Mosido's three disciples when it comes to communicating and even discussing magical academic research with him.

Sain vaguely heard the two discussing something called a "Fire Elemental Fission Generator," but as someone with little power, he was completely clueless about what that was.

He mainly engaged in shallow conversation with senior sister Faye, frequently reaching out to pick at the delicious food on the table in front of him.

Sain had never eaten so many Enchanted Creatures before, especially the unremarkable dish in the center of the table.

It turned out that its main ingredient was sourced from the hind legs of the Frost Lion Hare, a magical creature even stronger than the Saltwater Crocodile.

As Sain put a piece of meat into his mouth, he was first shocked by the cold air contained within the meat.
