Wei Zhao went out of the village, searching for herbs to help with his cultivation. As he walked through the forest, he used the system to scan for any nearby herbs.
Wei Zhao's previous conversation with the system allowed him to learn this world has many cultivation recourses, he just needs to find them.
Wei Zhao has the perfect thing to find them the system can search for things with 60 miters around him. Its main function was to find Beasts but can also be applied to other things.
"Search for herbs", said Wei Zhao.
The system displayed a list of herbs and their stats, and Wei Zhao carefully read through them. He was looking for herbs that would help him with his energy cultivation and increase his strength.
-Dragon Heart Vine - a vine that grows on the sides of cliffs and can be difficult to obtain. It's said to help strengthen the heart and improve one's physical strength.
-Frost Lotus - a delicate flower that only grows in the coldest of environments. When consumed, it can help cool the body and improve one's resistance to cold temperatures.
-Fire Lily - a bright red flower that grows in warm, humid environments. It can help increase one's body temperature and improve blood circulation.
-Cloud Mushroom - a small, fluffy mushroom that grows high up in the mountains. It's said to improve one's mental clarity and help with focus during meditation.
After a while of searching, he found a patch of herbs that caught his attention. The first herb was called Dragon's Breath, and it had a high concentration of fire energy. Its main use was to enhance the power of fire-based attacks.
The second herb was called Sky Lotus, and it had a high concentration of spiritual energy. Its main use was to aid in meditation and improve mental clarity.
The third herb was called Frostleaf, and it had a high concentration of ice energy. Its main use was to enhance the power of ice-based attacks.
Wei Zhao carefully harvested the herbs, making sure to leave some behind so they could regrow. He knew that nature was a precious resource and needed to be protected. He carefully plucked them from the ground and examined them, marveling at their vibrant colors and potent fragrance.
As he was about to leave the clearing, he suddenly heard a low growl coming from behind him. He turned around and saw a large, fierce-looking beast standing just a few feet away from him. He looked above it's head to see its stats.

Its attacks are swift and deadly, and it can quickly take down even skilled cultivators. However, it is vulnerable to fire-based attacks, which can cause significant damage to its body. Its fur and claws are highly sought after for their value in crafting high-quality armor and weapons.
Without hesitation, the Bloodfang Wolf charged toward Wei Zhao with a loud growl. Wei Zhao took a deep breath and focused his energy, ready to face the ferocious beast. He deftly dodged the wolf's first attack and retaliated with a swift strike from his sword. The blade cut through the wolf's fur, drawing a thin line of blood.
The Bloodfang Wolf let out a deafening roar and lunged at Wei Zhao once more. This time, Wei Zhao used his Beast Devouring Technique to absorb the beast's Qi, which made him feel stronger and more invigorated. The two continued to clash, their movements swift and fierce.
The battle continued for what felt like hours, but in reality, it was only a few minutes before Wei Zhao finally dealt a fatal blow to the Bloodfang Wolf, taking it down with a final strike from his sword. As the wolf breathed its last breath, Wei Zhao stood there panting, his body covered in sweat.
Suddenly, the system beeped, and a message appeared in front of Wei Zhao:

Wei Zhao was overjoyed. He thanked the system for its help and made his way back to the village.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
He took a deep breath and began to channel his spiritual energy into the sword. As he did so, the blade started to glow with a fiery red light, and the air around them grew warmer. He practiced with the sword for a while and stopped to visit Liu Hao.
Wei Zhao looked at Liu Hao with excitement in his eyes. "Liu Hao, I have something to show you," he said, drawing out his sword.
"I call this skill the Blazing Sword Technique," he said, grinning. "It's a fire-based sword skill that I comprehended from a beast I fought. With this technique, I can imbue my sword with flames, making it stronger and more deadly."
Liu Hao's eyes widened in amazement as he watched Wei Zhao's sword dance through the air, leaving a trail of flames in its wake. "That's incredible," he said. "You really are a talented cultivator."
Wei Zhao smiled, feeling a sense of pride swell within him. He had worked hard to cultivate his skills, and it felt good to have someone acknowledge his efforts.
As the two of them continued to practice their swordsmanship, Wei Zhao felt a sense of contentment wash over him. But soon bad news came.
As they were practicing swords Xiao Lin let them know that a village a few km away from them was destroyed by a small beast wave Survivors are looking to move to their village.
. . . . . . . .
Wei Zhao and Liu Hao quickly went to the village entrance to help the survivors. When they arrived, they saw that the village was filled with people.
The survivors were huddled together, looking scared and desperate. Wei Zhao approached them and asked what had happened. One of the cultivators guarding the group stepped forward and explained that a small beast wave had attacked their village and they were lucky to escape with their lives.
Wei Zhao and Liu Hao and others helped welcome the survivors and led them to the village center. The villagers gathered around to see the newcomers.
One of the survivors, a middle-aged woman with tears in her eyes, stepped forward and spoke, "Thank you for allowing us to seek refuge in your village. Our village was attacked by a small beast wave, and we were forced to flee for our lives. We have few powerful cultivators among us, but we were not enough to repel the beasts."
village chief nodded sympathetically. "You are welcome here. We will do what we can to help you."
Another survivor, a muscular man with a scar across his face, stepped forward and spoke with a gruff voice. "We are grateful for your help. We have children among us who need to be cared for. We will do what we can to contribute to your village, but we do not have much food or resources."
Wei Zhao turned to the village chief, "What is our food situation?"
The chef sighed and shook his head. "We are already short on food. The harvest has been poor this year, and our reserves are low. We will need to ration our food carefully."
village chief turned back to the survivors. "We will do what we can to accommodate you, but we will also need your help. Perhaps some of you can assist us with farming or hunting?"
The scarred man nodded. "We will do what we can to contribute. Thank you again for your kindness."
Putting Cultivation skills to use, They started constructing new homes for the survivors of the destroyed village. They worked tirelessly the day, channeling their energy to move large boulders and shape them into homes, while the other villagers assisted with smaller tasks like gathering building materials and cooking food for the workers.
The villagers and survivors began to mingle and discuss how they could work together to survive. Wei Zhao and Liu Hao watched from a distance, hoping that their small village would be able to withstand the challenges ahead.
Wei Zhao was surprised today by many things but as he was watching cultivators working so fast and building houses that would've taken normal humans days in minutes, he feels inspired, and the plan keeps coming to his head.
