As they reached to the inn, Gege found Sheng sitting on a table as he was ready to eat his dinner. She looked around and found that there was no space for her anywhere so she walked towards Sheng and sat in front of him with a smile on her face.
"I hope, Senior can let me join him for dinner." She waved her handfan in front of her as she placed it on the table leaving no choice for Sheng but to let her join him. Yantu silently sat beside her like he was not there.
She looked at the table and was stunned after seeing the beautiful buns. The person who made those buns must have a lot of experience.
"These buns are so pretty. How can someone eat these?" She sighed as she picked one. She was still going to eat these even if she had to feel a little guilty. The waiter who was placing the dishes smiled brightly at her.
"These buns are specially made by our owner. Her wife loved these buns and after her death he makes them all day."
The waiter sounded sad in the end while Gege felt bad too. After the waiter left Gege took a bite from the bun.
"Ah, the pain of being abandoned." Suddenly she missed her elder sister. Her sister was everything to her but she was not able to say good bye to her before she was pulled in this world.
What her sister be doing right? Will she be missing her?
"T e a c h e r..." Yantu called her as he caught her staring at her bun. Gege came out of her thoughts and looked at him as she smiled softly.
"It's nothing. You need to eat." She told him and as she looked in front of her she caught Sheng staring at her but as soon as their eyes met he looked away from her.
"I did not know that you have this much interest in love." He sarcastically smiled as he was pretty sure that this was going to piss her off but Gege put her bun down.
"What's wrong with it? I think loyalty is more important than any power and hence that man is better than us. A mortal over immortals. Are you looking down on him because he is a mortal. But still he has a bigger heart than any of us."
Sheng coughed as he did not know why Gege brought this up. He did not mean this or did he.
"What do you say? Isn't loyalty important?"
"I did not say that." He looked hesitant. Being in love was forbidden for cultivators. It was not that they were not allowed to marry but being married or in a relationship was considered weakness both for male and female.
"Loyalty is important teacher." She was ready to kill that man with her stares when she heard a soft voice from her left side. She turned her head and looked at the boy that had certain emotions filled in his eyes but Gege could not see those emotions.
She smiled and gently patted his head as it became her habit those past years. It was a sign that she was feeling extremely happy with the person.
"Of course it is Yantu. If we have to stay loyal to our sect or our master than we should also stay loyal to that one particular person. It's not an embarrassment."
She spoke and then looked at Sheng.
"But some people think it's weakness." She scoffed and Sheng knew those words were for him. He felt guilty and embarrassed as his other disciples were agreed what Gege said.
"Everyone finish your food quickly." He ordered them while Gege wanted to snarl at him. Ah, those men.
"Teacher, you should eat too." She came out of her thoughts as Yantu poured her some soup. Gege did not say anything and start eating her food while Yantu smiled.
His teacher did not think that being in love meant weakness. She was different among all.
After the dinner, Gege got up and walked towards her room while Yantu followed her again. As she reached to her room, she turned towards him.
"You should go to your room now. It was a tiring day and you need to replenish your energy." She told him as Yantu was still a mortal afterall. He needed sleep unlike her.
"T e a c h e r..."
He softly called her as she was about to enter in her room. She paused and glanced at him who looked nervous.
"I was abandoned by the villagers after my parents death. But I found you and.... please teacher don't abandon me."
He finished what he wanted to say and then bowed and left while Gege stared in the direction where he left.
Gege entered in her room and closed the room elegantly but as the door was closed she fell on her knees and cried bitterly.
"Did he just threaten me?
Did he know that I am going to push him off the cliff?"
"D i n g.
Host should not think much and prepare for the big day. There isn't much time left."
Gege heard the mechanical voice.
"I want to go home. I miss my sister." She sighed but the system was not impressed by her acting.
"The host can go back once she has collected hundred points." She reminded her while Gege knitted her brows.
"That's right. I should focus on collecting points and then I can go back home before protagonist can come back after becoming stronger. If I left earlier then I would not suffer from that horrible fate.
Haha...I am a genius.".
Gege laughed as she made a plan for her future while the system went offline knowing that with such performance she won't be able to collect those points easily.
