Money made it so that he had more opportunities to read and gather information once he left the Academy, but the library pass was still useful and a valuable resource he might not be able to find elsewhere on the continent. While he was here, it was better if he devoted most of his efforts there.
As for shopping, practicing with the formation plates he had just bought, and the rest… it would have to be on his next 'break.'
