Chapter 1172 - Foul Mood

Returning back to the tavern, Wang Ming Liang was in a foul mood. She didn't regret what she did, nor did she think she was wrong. The two fellows, Li Fan and Qing Ban were indeed the 'slackers' of their respective families. It was a bit much to say they were good for nothing, but compared to their peers, they were less hard-working and less talented, spending most of their days slacking off or gossiping. Similarly, Wang Ming Liang hadn't exaggerated at all either. The Wang family's claim to a third of the village wasn't unjustified, and the benefits they brought to the town were no small matter. If nothing else, just looking at the current generation, Wang Ku Mang was benefiting off of the relationship he had with the village, being able to get insider rates and deals because he was of the Wang family. But at the same time, wasn't the village benefitting off of having a trader and caravan leader who had their best interests at heart?
