Taking the two bowls, Di Tou pulled out a small pouch and counted out two pieces of silver to give the salesman, only for the man to wipe his hands on his apron and hang it up before going back to sit down. Seeing this, Di Tou raised an eyebrow and said, "Hey, you forgot to accept money."
Chuckling, the salesman who had already sat back down and began to chat with his friends turned around and said, "No need, consider it a welcoming gift."
Holding the two pieces of silver in his palm, Di Tou thought for a moment before shaking his head with a smile and placing the silver back in the bag. Taking the two bowls of wontons, he found a table nearby and quickly ate, finding that the wontons were supple and fresh, and although the ingredients weren't anything special, at the very least there was nothing wrong with them, and the craftsmanship made up for any flaws, creating a clean and filling breakfast.
