Walking through the fields with the scholar, Fu Hao Xin's heart couldn't help but beat rapidly. Perhaps it was the instincts of a hunter, but something about the scholarly man made all his hair stand up on end, although he hadn't shown any signs of being dangerous, and all of the men in the army didn't pay him much mind.
Still, knowing he would at least live until he led them up the mountain, Fu Hao Xin's heart gained a little more confidence, especially as he saw the majority of the army didn't look to be equipped with bows. If anything really went wrong… although he wasn't confident in saying he could escape unscathed, by taking advantage of the familiar terrain and a few of the hideouts, he should be able to slip away in the midst of the chaos. Then it would be up to the good Heavens above if he managed to live, died to beasts, or was caught by the army.
