The searing pain didn't stop, instead escalating, coming wave after wave, each tingling burning sensation stacking upon the last, feeling as if a knife was being taken to his bones and slowly scraping away the flesh and outer shell, looking to pry deeper.
Falling out of the chair and curling into a ball on the ground, Di Tou couldn't help but gasp in relief at the cold surface of the floor touching his skin as the pain seemed to make its way out of his skull and into the rest of his body, as if letting him know that the skull alone wasn't enough to encompass the hurt it was about to lay out.
Letting out a muffled scream, that escalated into a full blown cry, Di Tou felt inch by inch as tiny ants seemed to crawl under every bit of his skin and rip away, bringing with them a searing heat that burrowed in to his core.
As he fell to his ground, his Spiritual Sense similarly shuddered and dispersed sending him back into the darkness.
