If it was the old Di Tou, perhaps he would have let out a wry smile and simply listened to the conches one by one, taking this time to be 'efficient' and work on something else at the same time, perhaps working on the formation plate again, or planning out his route as he listened to the conch shells like a podcast on the way to work…
But right now, Di Tou was far more full of determination, which in the broad sense didn't mean much, but in this case meant that he was much more single minded. Now that the project of creating, producing, and selling the toilet formation had been passed on, Di Tou was ready to pretty much wash his hands of it, and it was no longer something he was thinking about.
Faced with all these conch shells, Di Tou made a rather strenuous decision. He would listen to all of them at once!
